The AAFSLW was established in 1991!
We serve in an advisory and advocacy capacity.
AAFSLW provides an opportunity for networking among professionals through conferences, regional meetings, newsletters, resource sharing, and case conferencing.
We also seek to provide orientation information to new FSLW’s throughout the province.
AAFSLW has and can also make recommendations regarding practice standards for FSLW’s.
New members are provided with an Association Handbook and we provide update information through the AAFSLW website and society newsletter to all members.
The Alberta Association of Family and School Liaison Workers hosts a yearly conference to encourage and enhance networking and professional development of it’s members.This is an opportunity to connect with Family School Liaison Workers across the Province of Alberta.
